Our Cyber Executive Education Programme equips CEOs, Directors, and Non-Executive Directors with essential frameworks and best practices to manage cyber security-related risks, and aims to increase knowledge of potential threats to an organisation.

The 1-day course, which is held for a maximum of 25 people, runs from 9am until 5pm and the cost is £500 +VAT.

The agenda is as follows:

  • 9.00 – 9.30am – Registration and Coffee.
  • 9.30 – 10.15am – Mini Cyber Attack Exercise; Katie O’Neill, Cyber and Fraud Centre-Scotland.
  • 10.15-11.00am – Cyber Incident Case Study.
  • 11.00 – 11.30am – Legal obligation around cyber security attacks-Douglas Mclachlan; Anderson Strathern.
  • 11:30-11:45 Coffee break
  • 11.45 – 12:30pm – Incident Response Panel- Russell Kerr; Police Scotland, Greg Cave; Accenture, Norman Stevenson; Cyber and Fraud Centre-Scotland. Hosted by Jude McCorry; Cyber and Fraud Centre-Scotland.
  • 12.30 – 13.30pm – Lunch.
  • 13.30 – 14.00pm – Cyber Threat Intel-Rebecca Ennion; Natwest.
  • 14:00 – 14.30pm – Ransomware behind the scenes; Rafe Pilling, Sophos.
  • 14.30- 15.00pm – Crisis Communications-David Gaffney; Charlotte Street Partners.
  • 15.00 – 15.30pm – Break.
  • 15.30 – 16.00pm – Building your Incident Response Plan; Norman Stevenson; Cyber and Fraud Centre-Scotland.
  • 16.00-16:30pm – Wrap Up.
