We’re pleased to share that the Cyber and Fraud Centre – Scotland is recognised as one of the first organisations in Scotland to achieve Flexible Workplace Accreditation.

Developed by Flexibility Works with support from The Robertson Trust, the accreditation recognises organisations that are actively embedding flexible working into their culture, not just offering it as a policy, but making it part of how work is delivered.

For the Cyber and Fraud Centre – Scotland, this reflects something simple – supporting our team members to have a better work/ life balance.

Why this matters

Flexible working has shifted from being a ‘nice to have’ to something much more fundamental. It supports:

  • Better wellbeing.
  • Stronger engagement.
  • More inclusive workplaces.
  • Improved productivity.

But, more importantly, it helps create environments where people can perform at their best.

More than a policy

This accreditation isn’t about ticking a box, it’s about how our organisation:

  • Design roles and ways of working.
  • Support different needs across teams.
  • Build trust and accountability.
  • Create space for people to balance work and life.

We have been working to embed this across our organisation, and it’s encouraging to see that recognised.

Part of a wider movement in Scotland

We are proud to be part of the first group of organisations in Scotland to receive this accreditation alongside others committed to improving how work works for people. Flexible working plays an important role in tackling wider challenges too – from improving access to work, to supporting economic participation and wellbeing.
