We are pleased to announce the launch of the Scottish Cyber Security Network, a new initiative aimed at enhancing cyber security across Scotland. Taking over from the previous ‘Trusted Partner Network’, SCSN is set to continue and expand upon its mission to protect Scotland’s digital infrastructure.

The SCSN is a collective of leading cyber security organisations, endorsed by the Cyber and Fraud Centre. This network is central to Scotland’s strategy for defending its digital infrastructure, businesses, and public organisations against the constantly changing dangers of cyber attacks.

The SCSN is dedicated to delivering extensive resilience solutions aimed at defending Scottish organisations against cyber threats. We work to improve security measures and provide a coordinated response to security breaches.

The verified partners of the Cyber and Fraud Centre within the Scottish Cyber Security Network offer a wide range of services to bolster Scotland’s cyber infrastructure. While they all share a commitment to enhancing cyber resilience and protecting digital assets, each partner brings unique expertise and technological innovations to the table, making the network both robust and diverse. CREST Accredited Pen Testing

CREST (Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers) accreditation is a globally recognised standard for penetration testing. It signifies that an organisation has met stringent requirements in terms of technical capability, security practices, and professional ethics. CREST accredited companies are trusted to conduct thorough and effective penetration testing to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Cyber Essentials Certification Body

The Cyber Essentials scheme is a UK government-backed certification that helps organisations protect themselves against common cyber threats. As a Cyber Essentials Certification Body, our member organisations are authorised to assess and certify businesses, ensuring they have implemented fundamental security controls to protect against cyber attacks.

Digital Forensics

Digital forensics involves the recovery and investigation of material found in digital devices, often in relation to computer crime. Organisations accredited in digital forensics are experts in identifying, preserving, analysing, and presenting digital evidence, providing crucial support in legal proceedings and internal investigations.

Incident Response

Incident response accreditation indicates an organisation’s proficiency in handling cyber security incidents. These organisations have proven capabilities to detect, respond to, and recover from cyber security incidents, minimising damage and restoring normal operations as quickly as possible.

IoT Cyber Security

The Internet of Things (IoT) cyber security accreditation demonstrates expertise in securing IoT devices and networks. Accredited organisations are skilled in identifying vulnerabilities in IoT ecosystems and implementing robust security measures to protect against cyber threats targeting connected devices.

Security Operations Centre (SOC)

A Security Operations Centre (SOC) accreditation signifies that an organisation operates a dedicated facility for monitoring and managing security incidents. SOCs provide continuous surveillance, analysis, and response capabilities, ensuring proactive and effective defence against cyber threats.
