In this short webinar, IASME’s Certification Technical Lead Neil Furminger will be giving a brief overview of the five Cyber Essentials controls followed by a Q&A session.
Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme which introduces cyber security controls proven to be effective against the most common internet based cyber threats. On 1st April 2020, IASME were appointed by the National Cyber Security Centre as the sole Cyber Essentials Partner.
Neil Furminger:
Neil has a background as an IT Manager and IT support across a wide range of companies. Neil has a deep understanding of IT support, technical and real-life cyber security issues.
Neil is currently IASME’s technical lead for the Cyber Essentials Scheme and has regular liaisons with major IT providers to ensure IASME has the latest updates on issues like end of life for commonly used software. Neil is also a key member of the IASME and NCSC Joint Technical Working Group for the Cyber Essentials scheme.
