SBRC Celebrates Women in STEM – International Women’s Day 2022

On this year’s #InternationalWomensDay, SBRC put together powerful quotes from dynamic women shining in the field of STEM. We wanted to amplify the social noise around women smashing stereotypes and effortlessly breaking the glass ceiling in the field of tech and cyber! 

A significant gender gap has persisted throughout the years at all levels of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines all over the world. Even though women have made tremendous progress towards increasing their participation in higher education, they are still under-represented in these fields. – Full and equal access and participation for women and girls in science, UN

We wanted to revisit the inspiring quotes shared, and remind ourselves that women who are role models and working on breaking the cycle of stereotypes in any and every field that does not portray equal participation, should be celebrated everyday.

It’s a known fact that equality brings the power of choice, and more #women than ever are choosing an exciting career in the field of #Tech/ #Cyber to #BreakTheBias
