Who we are

The Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting cybersecurity and providing comprehensive support within the business sector. Through strategic collaboration between the Scottish Government and the Scottish business community the Cyber and Fraud Centre has established itself as an authoritative voice in the realm of cyber safety and resilience ensuring a safer and more robust business landscape in Scotland.

It is our intention that every Scottish organisation have the skills and knowledge to protect themselves against online attacks. We achieve this through the delivery of education and preventative training, as well as actively raising awareness of threats throughout the business community. 

We are a small, high performing team with a focus on genuine care and respect for one another as we work to bring cyber safety to organisations around Scotland. The threat landscape is constantly evolving, and this is an exciting time to join us as we continue to grow and expand our services.

We have an internal culture and well-being group, and we meet to discuss what we have been doing, and what new things we can do to further enhance the experience for employees. This has led to us to implementing a 4-day working week.  

About the role

You will work closely with our senior management team to provide comprehensive office management, finance, and administrative support.  The role of office based. 

We are looking for that self-motivated, organised, efficient, innovative and professional individual who is a real people person and used to working on multiple projects simultaneously in addition to the below listed responsibilities.  The successful candidate will perform a pivotal role using their skills and experience to ensure the smooth running of a very busy office, which is the hub of many activities, meetings and events.   

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing executive support to the CEO, e.g., diary management, correspondence, other admin duties 
  • Take minutes at meetings and distribute to attendees as required 
  • Book meeting rooms and catering
  • Provide essential admin support to our wider team
  • Arrange travel and accommodation as necessary for the team
  • Attend events and meetings as required
  • Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports etc. as required
  • Meeting and greeting visitors 
  • Answering phone calls and general enquiries 

About you

You will :

  • Have previous administrative experience
  • Have excellent verbal and written communications skills  
  • Be proficient in the use of MS Office and calendar management
  • Have the ability to prioritise workload with flexibility to meet operational needs  
  • Have excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Have the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision  
  • Have high standards in relation to discretion and confidentiality
