The Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting cybersecurity and providing comprehensive support within the business sector. Through strategic collaboration between the Scottish Government and the Scottish business community the Cyber and Fraud Centre has established itself as an authoritative voice in the realm of cyber safety and resilience ensuring a safer and more robust business landscape in Scotland.

We have an internal culture and well being group and they meet to discuss what we have been doing, and what new things we can do to further enhance the experience for employees. This has led to us trialling a 4-day working week which has recently been made permanent.
Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland are looking to recruit a Cyber Incident Responder based between our office in the Oracle Campus in Linlithgow and Remote Working at home. You will work closely with our Cyber Incident Response and Threat Intelligence Manager and the wider team, to be the first point of contact for our Incident Response Line to provide support and advice to organisations experiencing cyber or fraud incidents. You will also create threat intelligence communications and post technical marketing blogs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Act as first point of contact for the Incident Response helpline
- Support our threat intelligence programme
- Work with the Centre’s marketing team to regularly update the website and social media accounts with advice, features articles, blogs, and videos
- Attend any relevant meetings, events, and networking opportunities with occasional evening and weekend work and travel within Scotland
- Assist with new projects/programmes taken up by Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland as and when required
- Be educated to degree level in cyber security or a related field, or be studying (currently second year or above) or have equivalent experience.
- Be passionate about all aspects of cyber security.
- Have a deep understanding of cybercrime and the current cyber risk landscape.
- Have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
