Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC) is a not-for-profit and a respected voice in business resilience, bringing together the Scottish Government, Police Scotland, and the Scottish business community. The vision of SBRC is to become the catalyst that makes Scotland one of the safest and most resilient places to live, work, and do business, both on and offline, especially during these times of economic recovery.

We have an internal culture and well being group and they meet regularly to dissect what we have been doing, and what new things we can do to further enhance the experience for employees. This has led to us trialing a 4 day work week which we hope to keep on beyond the trial. We work based off of a hybrid approach with a blend of in office and work from home.
Based at our office in the Oracle Campus in Linlithgow, you will form part the Senior Management Team (SMT) to provide comprehensive operations management and financial support to the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Maintaining operational excellence across the whole organisation ensuring operational effectiveness both towards SBRC Board, SBRC members, partners and employees, acting as a trusted partner for the CEO.
· Collaborating with the SMT, led by the CEO in setting and driving organisational vision, operational strategy and building and maintaining our organisational culture.
· Manage budgets and key performance indicators
· Monitoring and collaborating with the team to submit applications for all potential new business and funding opportunities to support the strategy of SBRC’s growth and expansion
· Ensuring robust financial processes and controls are in place including Cashflow performance indicator management
· Collaborating with our External Auditing partners.
· Preparing regular Board reports focusing on finance, services and operational information and recommendations to reduce risks, improve and grow the business.
· Establishing and monitoring key business metrics and deliver the systems and accountability to ensure these are metrics are consistently met.
· Line management for Office Manager and HR Officer.
You will have:
· Strong financial background and CA, CIMA or working towards these qualifications (we will support via study time and funding)
· Analytical mind and problem solving aptitude
· Leadership skills, with personal integrity.
· Account management skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Proficient in the use of MS Office and cloud based accounting systems.
· Excellent organisational skills.
· High level of attention to detail
· Proven track record of building and maintaining strong business relationships.
